World History Homework Info

For the week of 3/16 - 3/20:

Welcome to World History - Distance Learning Style! Guys, I am a little upset that we missed the ability to meet one more time because I was so looking forward to seeing what you each had come up with for your Black Plague Survival Kits! You each had such creative ideas. I have given that project a few times over the years, but never has it been more relevant than with you guys this year. With the events of the last several days, are there any items that you would add to your kits that you did not include originally? I am not going to grade you on your answer... I'm just curious. We are all experiencing something that we never have before, myself included. Perhaps your experiences over the last few days have given you new ideas for your kits.

I do not know for sure the next time we will meet, but I do not want your hard work on your Black Plague Survival Kit projects to not count for something! If you have your project with you at home and have access to a camera phone, please take a picture of it and email it to me at [email protected] or text it to me through Remind - whatever is easier. If you can't do this, that's okay. Just give me a head's up. I understand that everything's a little out of whack right now, so just let me know what your situation is and we'll figure it out. :)

Over the next two weeks, we will be diving deeper into the Middle Ages with a fun activity packet that includes readings and some activities to ensure that you "get" the info. Our schedule for the packet for this week is as follows:

Week 1:
- Read pg. 1 in the packet and complete Activity 1 on pg. 2.
- Read pg. 3 in the packet and complete Activity 2 on pg. 4.
- Read pg. 5 in the packet and complete Activity 3 on pg. 6.
-Read pgs. 7-8.

If you did not pick up a copy of the packet in school on Monday, it is accessible through our Google Classroom. You should have already gotten an invite through your ksdnj.org gmail account to join our class, but just in case, our class code is listed below:
