S E C O N D G R A D E ! ! !
I am so happy that you will be in my class this year!
Second Grade is the place to be! There are many new things to learn and explore throughout our year. I can’t wait to get started! Can you?
Here are a few supplies that you will need to prepare yourself for class this year.
Please label all supplies with your child's first and last name:
- 1 marble notebooks (about 100 pages, not spiral bound)
- 1 blue spiral bound notebook
- 2 folders with bottom pockets
- 2 boxes of sharpened #2 pencils (Ticonderoga is the best!)
- 1 large pink eraser
- 1 package of thin black dry erase markers
- 1 highlighter
- 1 package of Post-It notes
- 1 small personal pencil sharpener
- 1 old clean sock (to be used as an eraser)
- 1 box of 24 crayons
- 10 large glue sticks
- 1 pair of inexpensive headphones/earbuds
- 2 extra face masks in a Ziploc bag labeled with your child's name
- Backpack (no wheels please)
The following supplies DO NOT need to be labeled:
- 1 box of tissues
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 1 package of unscented hypo-allergenic baby wipes
- 1 box of quart or gallon sized Ziploc bags
I am asking each family to donate 1 package of small toys for our class prize box:)
**All students should have a ruler, scissors, crayons, and glue at home for homework assignments throughout the year.**
