Kyle Arlington, Superintendent of Schools for Kenilworth, has informed the Board of Education of his decision to accept a position in the Glen Ridge Public Schools, effective July 1, 2024. Mr. Arlington has held the position of Superintendent of Schools since March 2019.
While the Board expresses disappointment regarding Mr. Arlington's decision, they extend their best wishes to him in all his future endeavors and express gratitude for his dedicated service to the school community.
Mr. Arlington played a crucial role in steering the district through the complexities brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic. Additionally, he led the district's efforts in the successful implementation of its referendum, which will secure improved educational facilities for the district's future. Furthermore, he diligently worked towards advancing the district's goals of enhancing student achievement and supporting innovative teaching and learning.
The Board will promptly initiate a search for a successor who can continue the momentum established by Mr. Arlington and further enhance the district's educational pursuits.
