First Grade is here so let's give a big cheer!!!

I want to officially welcome you and your child for the wild ride that is First Grade!! This will be an amazing year for you and your child!!!

I would like to request the following items to be brought in for your child. Please label everything with your child’s name.

All of this is not due the first day of school, but as soon as you can. I would also like to remind you that a request was made that the backpack that you purchase for your child not have the wheels on it. You can drive when you are 17 so these kids have a little while to go before that happens. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

1 box of tissues

2 rolls of paper towels

2 boxes of baby wipes

An art smock ( for in-class projects)Two bags of individually wrapped candy (no peanut butter or nuts)                                

A school supply box (clear plastic ones are great) or shoe box

A CLEAN old sock ( to be used as an eraser)

Two spiral notebooks

1 marbled hardcover BLACK notebook

1 1 inch 3 ring binder

1 package of thin Dry Erase Markers

1 set of headphones that can attach to any radio or iPod- CHEAP.

2 packages of spiral index cards
 

Optional Items

a box of pencils (optional)

markers and/or crayons (optional)

Also if you have any of the following items, or can save these items throughout the school year for class projects I would be very grateful.
