Dear School Community:
In celebration of Thanksgiving tomorrow, I'd like to
practice a bit of gratitude and share with you a few things for which I am
professionally grateful. Some of these include:
- Our inquisitive students
who are filled with wonder and curiosity and serve as the reason we
exist as a Kenilworth School community.
- Our courageous teaching
faculty who take instructional risks and engage in thoughtful
instructional decision making; they share with me daily examples of
their passion and fervor for teaching your children.
- Our supportive parents, and
parent groups, such as our PTOs, Special Education Parent Advisory
Group (SEPAG) and Education Foundation, and many others, who devote
time and resources to support our children and schools.
- Our dedicated support
staff, including our aides, secretaries and custodians, who facilitate
the smooth operations of our schools every day.
- Our community partnerships
with the Kenilworth Police Department, Fire Department, Emergency
Medical Technicians, School Resource Officer & Special Law
Enforcement Officer, who help keep us safe.
- Our district administrators
who make crucial decisions each day to help problem solve, manage and
lead our district into the future.
- Our Board of Education
members who are focused on advancing our district by serving the
community with the best interests of students in mind.
Thank you for the opportunity to work for and with you.
Sincerely,
Kyle C. Arlington
