HOMEWORK EXPECTATIONS

  • Please use pencil.
  • Remember to write your name.
  • Follow the directions.
  • Use your best handwriting.  Make sure you use the top, middle, & base lines.
  • Try your best to spell your words. 
  • Have your Homework Helper check your homework.

READING Homework

  • You will bring home a just-right book to read every night. 
  • If it’s a short book, try to reread it (2 or 3 times).
  • If it’s a long book, you can read half and read the rest of it for homework the next day.
  • If it’s a chapter book, read 1 chapter a night.
  • After reading your book, answer the question on the reading response worksheet.  The question should be familiar to you.  It matches the strategy we learned in class that day.
  • Remember to take care of your book.  If your book gets lost or damaged, please send $5 to get your book replaced.

  • Monday – CHOICE (please see link)
  • Tuesday – worksheet
  • Wednesday – worksheet
  • THURSDAY – practice test

  • Complete the 2-sided math worksheet.

  • If you lose your math worksheet, you can get it online at

  • User Name: first initial, last name, # in class (e.g. jwong21)
  • Password: student
  • Click Library
  • Click Go Math Standards Practice Book
